~ Capturing precious memories, one moment at a time ~

The bride is the most important part of the wedding party, right? Of course she is! That's why she gets her own photo shoot, to feel like the princess she is becoming.

You didn't pay a small fortune for that dress just to wear it to the wedding. At Precious Memories by Jamie, we are able to capture you at your best, before the nerves set in!

Let us take in your innocence and beauty with a photo shoot to remember. It's not all about the pictures. It's the memories you are making in them.

For most blushing brides, the dress has been a dream since she was a little girl. Now you can turn that dream into reality.

Preparing for your session...

First of all, remember that getting married is a once in a lifetime experience. These are memories that you may never again be able to capture.
Don't forget to have fun. A few serious shots are wonderful to have, but just like the wedding itself, you are supposed to enjoy yourself.
Don't be shy! I say this for two reasons. One, you are a beautiful bride to be. Let your beauty shine through. The dress itself is amazing but it doesn't measure to the love and innocence shinning through in your eyes.
Secondly, if you have specific ideas of what you want, let us know. We will try our best to give you the precious moments that YOU want, not what we think would look nice.

Below, are some suggestions for what to wear and bring for your session.

Bring a few changes of clothes incase you want some non-formal shots. A pair of jeans under the dress make for a great fun shot! If you run a lot, bring your old worn out running shoes. If you are a dancer, bring along your dance shoes. If you like walking in the sand in your flip-flops, bring those too.
You don't need to have your hair and make up done just the way you will for the big day. Remember, this is a "pre-wedding" shoot. If you are going to have an "up-do" at the wedding, maybe you'd rather have your bridals done with your hair down and flowing and vice versa. If you are wearing a white dress, make sure you have some makeup on so your skin tone isn't washed out by the dress.
Don't forget to bring your headpiece. Some shots with and without make for a great variety to choose from.
Bring your bouquet! If you have any left over flowers that aren't in your bouquet but match your theme or color scheme, bring those along as well. Brides look wonderful smelling flowers!
Make sure you have a friend or family member, i.e. mother, maid of honor, sister etc. come along with you to help assist in changing clothes or holding your dress or flowers during pose changes.
Bring some bridal magazines that have your favorite bridal shots in them. If you have seen a shot that you just love, let me know and I will do my best to re-create that just for you.
Last but not least, bring some water and some patience. The water is incase you get to hot, in that big dress. The patience, well that's incase you get to frustrated in that big dress. Although they are gorgeous, wedding gowns are still somewhat of a headache. Just stay calm, and remember, you are about to become "Mrs. Happy For The Rest Of Your Life"!
